His interest in SportsMedicine grew more after suffering a knee injury. Learning about his injury eventually led him to Podiatry primarily because of the emphasis that Podiatric Medicine places on Biomechanics. His Residency program was designed to combine a biomechanical approach to some conditions and to turn to a surgical alternative as a last resort. This is the philosophy of care he has basically followed most of his career.
Dr. Ducach has found Podiatric Medicine and Surgery to be a very rewarding and challenging career. He has learned to tailor treatments to a person’s needs and lifestyle. He has also nurtured relationships with other Medical Specialists like Vascular and Orthopedic Surgeons, Dermatologists, and Infectious Disease Specialists to be able to work as a team to help solve patient’s medical problems. This is his primary goal: use your experience and skills to help your patients to the best of your ability.
